Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on recruitment test followed by interview.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position of Project Fellow @ Rs.14,000/- p.m. fixed for Non-Gate/ Non-NET and Rs.16000/- p.m. fixed for Gate/ NET/GPAT respectively, provided in the scheme, “Technology for the production of convenient variety pasta with health benefits-UGC-59 (PC-7080)” on the prescribed proforma obtainable from this Department on payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of a bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU Ludhiana.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. B.Sc.(Agri) (Hons )/B.Sc.(Hort)/ B.Sc. Food Science & Technology/ B.Sc.(H.Sc.)/ B.Tech. Food Technology/B.Sc. Food Science and Qualilty Control or equivalent at least with second division.
  2. M.Sc. (Food Technology)/ M.Sc.( Food & Nutrition)/ M.Sc. Biochemistry with minimum of 55% marks for general category (50% in case of SC/ST/PH).
  3. The candidate to be appointed at Project Fellow should be below the age of forty years at the time of appointment.

The fellowship is purely temporary and initially will be awarded for a period of six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of application in this office duly completed in all respects is 3.1.2017. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview in this department on 06.1.2017 at 11.30 A.M. in the office room of the undersigned and no separate intimation will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The Project Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of the assignment in the PAU.
